Mini Barrage Blue Canyon Richlite

The Mini Barrage Blue Canyon Richlite 585-03 gives Benchmade's popular model a well-deserved new look. Designed by mastermind Warren Osborne, the Mini Barrage features a strong suspension and practical design throughout. As an Assisted Folder, the pocket knife opens semi-automatically via the double-sided thumb pin. Thanks to the strong spring of the assisted mechanism, the knife springs open in a flash and is ready for work at any time. The color scheme known as "Blue Canyon" is especially nice, coming through with the dark blue handle along with the light brown elements like the spacer and thumb pin. With Richlite, Benchmade have chosen a very interesting handle material here, as this is essentially a composite material of resin and many layers of paper. Sounds incredible, but it is! In fact, Richlite is regularly used in the aerospace and marine industries today. Typical of a Benchmade model, this Mini Barrage also comes with a sharp blade made of S30V high-end blade steel and Benchmade's own designed Axis-Lock locking mechanism. The blade itself is about 7.4 cm long, so it mainly takes care of everyday concerns. And for those who are now afraid that the semi-automatic folder will accidentally open in your pocket, don't panic! Thanks to the additional safety lock, both Axis-Lock and the blade are blocked in the hilt, so you are protected at all times! A convertible pocket clip then finally rounds off the overall equipment!
