Opinel knives - a robust knife made from natural materials. The knife manufactory was founded in 1890 by Joseph Opinel and already in 1914 the knives became known to Italy and Switzerland.

In 1955, the simple but ingenious Virobloc system was developed. The blade lock still ensures the safe handling of the Opinel knife to this day.
