In Amerika gibt es viele verschiedene Formen von klassischen Taschenmessern. Diese sind zumeist Slipjoint-Messer, haben also keine Arretierung. Auch zeichnen sie sich dadurch aus, dass sie oftmals mehr als nur eine Klinge besitzen. So auch das Canoe von Buck, welches den traditionellen Geist der amerikanischen Messerherstellung einfängt und in neuem Licht glänzen lässt. Im 9,2 cm langen Heft lassen sich zwei verschieden große Klingen unterbringen. Die Primärklinge ist 6,4 cm lang und eignet sich für kleinere Schneidaufgaben hervorragend. Öffnen lassen sich beide Klingen über einen typischen Nagelhau. Das rustikale Griffstück besteht aus dunklem Pakkaholz und wird von zwei Neusilber-Backen umschlossen. Genau mittig des Griffes befindet sich ein anmutiges Buck-Emblem. Gefertigt sind beide Klingenkörper komplett aus 420J2 Stahl. Das Canoe ist perfekt für Campingausflüge und für alltägliche Schneidaufgaben geeignet.
