Product information "4-Max Scout"

The original 4-Max met Cold Steel's expectations in every aspect, but the production costs and deadlines were too long. To meet high customer demand, Cold Steel designed the 4-Max Scout. The original 4-Max is equipped with an extra-wide drop-point blade. The Scout, on the other hand, is made of 4.8 mm AUS 10A steel, which is characterised by its high resilience, impact resistance and edge retention. The shape of the handle has not changed in any way, but instead of G-10, Griv-Ex handle scales are used here, which are combined with an Eldestahl clip and a Griv-Ex backspacer. Andrew Demko's Trid-Ad-Lock locks the knife reliably and promises a high level of safety during use. A thumb pin is used to bring the knife into the open position. The 4-Max Scout withstands hardness and load tests with ease. All in all, the 4-Max Scout is a solid and reliable pocket knife that is similar to the 4-Max in performance and design, but with a slightly better price/performance ratio.
