Als echte Größe liefert uns Cold Steel das American Lawman 58B. Dieses Messer verkörpert die Eigenschaften eines raubeinigen Gesetzeshüters und wurde für Polizeieinsätze geschaffen. Es ist ein äußerst robustes Taschenmesser mit einer Auswahl bester Materialien. Die schwarz beschichtete Klinge aus pulvermetallurgischem CPM S35VN ist am oberen Ende der Messerstähle angesiedelt und verbindet hohe Zähigkeit und Korrosionsbeständigkeit mit exzellenter Schärfe. Der Tri-Ad-Lock ist einer der sichersten am Markt und hält die Klinge absolut zuverlässig in Position, nachdem sie einhändig durch den Daumenpin geöffnet wurde. Die Griffschalen aus G10 sind unverwüstlich, denn dieser glasfaserverstärkte Kunststoff ist einer der zähesten, die es gibt und daher bestens für Messergriffe geeignet. Cold Steel was founded in 1980 by Lynn C. Thompson and is based in California. Lynn is a true martial arts expert who has been dedicated to the study of many martial arts since his early youth, including Ruy Karate, Thai Boxing, Wado, Jeet Kune Do, Kali and Jiu Jitsu. He is also an extremely good shooter and skilled hunter as well as an excellent fighter in stick fighting, sword fighting, sabre fencing and a master in all types of knife fighting. In addition, he has held countless seminars in knife fighting all over the world over the years, as well as producing training and instructional videos.
