The Espada XL is the larger version of the popular Espada and was very much inspired by the classic Navaja knives from Spain. With a length of 19 cm, the blade is definitely designed for the big jobs but can also take on precise cuts thanks to its excellent sharpness. It is made of high-quality AUS-10A steel, which allows a wide range of usage with its combination of good sharpness and very good resistance against breaking. The thumb pin allows one-handed operation and can be used for quick opening at the pocket seam when the knife is drawn. For safe operation, the blade is secured with the patented Tri-Ad mechanism, which has withstood a weight of 272 kg in tests. The handle scales made of roughened G10 are comfortable to hold, even under heavy pressure and allow you to work safely.
Cold Steel was founded in 1980 by Lynn C. Thompson and is based in California.
