Kaum ein Messer ist in der Wildnis so vielseitig einsetzbar wie ein Kukri. Ursprünglich aus Nepal, ist diese Art von Messer für grobe Arbeiten wie Holzbearbeitung bis hin zu feineren Arbeiten sehr nützlich. Cold Steel nutzt genau diese durchdachte Form für ihre Royal Kukri Machete. Das taktische Haumesser hat eine Klingenlänge von 39,4 cm und wird zur Klingenspitze breiter. Dadurch lassen sich gerade Hackbewegungen effizient ausführen. Der verwendete 1055 Kohlenstoffstahl ist sehr scharf und auch unglaublich bruchfest, weswegen er für so eine Art von Messer perfekt geeignet ist. Damit die Klinge nicht korrodiert, wird das Werkzeug mit einem schwarzen Einbrennlack behandelt, der die Korrosionsbeständigkeit extrem erhöht. Der bequeme Griff aus Polypropylen ist ergonomisch geformt und bleibt durch die stark texturierte Oberfläche zu jeder Zeit sehr griffig. Eine schwarze Nylonscheide ist im Lieferumfang enthalten.
