Designed by famous custom knife maker Andrew Demko and one of Cold Steel's most popular folding knives. The razor-sharp blade of the Spartan is made of Japanese AUS10A steel and is modelled on the world-famous Kukir. Aesthetics meet cutting performance here. The distinctive handle is made of Griv-Ex and promises an outstanding feel with its unusual shape. The blade is opened with one hand using a Demko thumb plate and reliably locked in place thanks to the solid Trid-Ad-Lock. The Demko thumb plate can be hooked into the edge of a pocket when drawing, opening the blade in a flash when drawn. Faster than many an automatic knife. Cold Steel was founded in 1980 by Lynn C. Thompson and is based in California. Lynn is a true martial arts expert who has been dedicated to the study of many martial arts since his early youth, including Ruy Karate, Thai Boxing, Wado, Jeet Kune Do, Kali and Jiu Jitsu. He is also an extremely good shooter and skilled hunter as well as an excellent fighter in stick fighting, sword fighting, sabre fencing and a master in all types of knife fighting.
