Die Griffschale besteht aus Walnussholz, und die rückwärtige Edelstahlplatine trägt den Framelock. Mit einem nützlichen Daumenpin ist die 8,8 cm lange Klinge aus Kohlenstoffstahl 1095HCS Klinge schnell einhändig zu öffnen. Das Krakatao hat einen umsetzbaren Clip (Tip-up/Tip down) zur Befestigung an der Kleidung oder Ausrüstung.
The history of Condor Tool & Knife goes back to 1787, when the Weyersberg brothers founded a company in Solingen to manufacture swords, military knives, cutlery and agricultural tools. Then, in 1964, the company IMACASA was founded in Santa Ana in El Salvador and the factory was well equipped with the most modern German tools and the employees were sent to Solingen for intensive training. Today, this factory produces machetes, axes, shovels and other hand tools of the highest quality. IMACASA was sold to local investors in 1980 and is now one of the largest machete and shovel manufacturers in the world. Then, in 2004, when additional knives and tools were developed for the North American and European markets, Condor Tool & Knife was born.
