Das minimalistische Design des Avant Taschenmessers ist vollends auf Funktionalität ausgelegt und kommt ganz ohne Schnörkel aus. Der ergonomisch geformte Griff liegt gut in der Hand, und die kugelgelagerte Klinge aus 8Cr14MoV-Stahl öffnet samtweich per Flipper oder Daumenschraube. Der umsetzbare Clip macht das Avant besonders praktisch. Die in Bronze gehaltenen Daumenscheibe, der Clip und das Klingenlager ergeben gemeinsam mit der Griffbeschalung aus Kohlefaser ein solides Erscheinungsbild. Die Klinge wird mit dem Liner-Lock gesichert.
