Dank des Gesamtpakets bekommt man beim CRKT Overland ein stabiles Outdoor-Messer. T.J. Schwarz entwarf das Design des Overland, das mit seiner robusten Sheepfoot-Klinge mit Stonewash-Finish aus 8Cr13MoV Stahl sofort ins Auge fällt. Um die Optik noch zu puschen, ist der Zierring um die Klingenschraube und den Spacer in Orange gehalten. Die vordere Griffschale des ergonomisch geformten Griffes besteht aus grünem G10. Wird die Klinge mittels Daumenlifer geöffnet, übernimmt der Edelstahl Frame-Lock die sichere Arretierung. Das Messer besitzt einen abnehmbaren Pocket-Clip und die Möglichkeit, eine Paracordschnur oder ein Lanyard zu befestigen.
