The Dönges Basic Fire is a powerful rescue knife that has been specially developed for firefighters, but is also versatile for everyday use. It offers an optimum balance between functionality, reliability and handiness. The moderate pocket knife size makes it easy to carry and allows it to handle everyday cutting tasks with ease, while at the same time being available as a professional rescue tool in emergency situations.

This knife is part of the Dönges Basic series, which impresses with its high-quality workmanship and well thought-out design. The anodised 6061 aircraft aluminium handle scales not only offer a robust and durable construction, but also a non-slip honeycomb structure that ensures a secure grip even in adverse conditions. The fire-engine red anodised finish also gives the knife an eye-catching and professional look. The blade of the Dönges Basic Fire is made of tough 440A stainless steel and has a semi-serrated shape that is suitable for precise cuts as well as for cutting belts and ropes. It can be opened effortlessly with the finger flipper or thumb pin, making it quickly ready for use. In addition, the knife has a glass breaker, which enables quick rescue from a vehicle in an emergency, as well as a belt cutter for quick and safe rescue. With an overall length of 21 cm and a blade length of 8.5 cm, the Dönges Basic Fire offers the ideal balance between handiness and performance.
