The EICKHORN PRT-IV DE is a pocket rescue knife that has been specially developed for professional use and is legally compliant in Germany in accordance with §42a of the German Weapons Act. This knife is designed for two-handed operation, which fulfils the legal requirements for freely operable knives. The blade is opened by means of a nail nick, which ensures safe and controlled handling.
The modern tactical knife has a special blade made of Böhler N695 steel with a hardness of HRC 58, which enables it to safely cut through clothing in emergency situations without causing injury. The blade is equipped with a perfectly rounded tip to minimise the risk of injury to the patient or the person being rescued. The black aluminium handle with synthetic resin inlay offers safe and comfortable handling, while the trouser clip makes it practical to carry. With an overall length of 19.8 cm and a blade length of 7.6 cm, the EICKHORN PRT-IV DE is compact and handy, yet extremely robust and easy to cut. The integrated belt cutter and glass breaker make the knife an indispensable tool in emergency situations. The liner lock with safety stop ensures that the blade is reliably locked in place during use.
