The EICKHORN PRT-XII DE is a variant of the popular pocket rescue knife that has been specially developed for the German market to comply with the provisions of §42a of the German Weapons Act. Unlike the conventional PRT-XII, the blade of this model can only be opened with both hands, which is made possible by a nail nick. This design ensures conformity with the legal regulations and makes the knife unrestricted in Germany.
The PRT-XII DE retains the proven features of its predecessor, including the rounded blade with a partial serrated edge for safely cutting injured persons free. The blue anodised handle made of AlMg3 aluminium with non-slip rubber inlay offers safe handling, while the trouser clip ensures comfortable carrying. With an overall length of 20.5 cm and a blade length of 8.2 cm, the PRT-XII DE is a practical size for everyday use. The blade is made of stainless steel and is easy to resharpen to ensure reliable performance. The blade is held in the working position by a solid linerlock and can be unlocked via a push button on the side of the handle.
