When the going gets tough, only one thing counts: absolute reliability. The EICKHORN Recondo IV Glatt is an uncompromising utility knife that works where others have long since given up. Developed and manufactured in Solingen, this knife stands for proven, field-tested quality – made for professionals, emergency services, and anyone who needs to be able to rely on their tools 100%.
The 17.2 cm long dagger blade made of high-quality 1.4110 steel (DIN X55CrMo14) offers an ideal combination of sharpness, robustness, and corrosion resistance. The durable Kalgard coating prevents annoying light reflections and reliably protects the blade from abrasion and weathering – ideal for covert operations and harsh conditions. The double-sided ground smooth blade is equally effective for piercing and cutting.
The non-slip, glass-fiber reinforced plastic handle offers full control even when wearing gloves or in wet conditions. Ergonomically designed, it fits comfortably in the hand and allows fatigue-free working even during prolonged use.
A real highlight is the highly functional sheath system made of Cordura and plastic, which is both MOLLE and IdZ compatible. Whether on a plate carrier, belt, or backpack, the Recondo IV sits securely and is ready for immediate use. And just in case, a diamond sharpening plate is integrated into the sheath. This allows you to quickly restore the cutting edge in the field, regardless of location or situation.
The EICKHORN Recondo IV Smooth is not a toy. It is a well-designed, tactical tool – ready for action when you are. Developed for situations where nothing can be left to chance.
Because when a “squirrel” goes into battle, it wants to give its all – and this knife gives you everything you need.
