When it comes to quality outdoor tools that combine both performance and art, the stunning ESEE Knives Gibson Axe tops the list. Designed by James Gibson and crafted by Knobcreek Forge, this compact camping axe embodies the best of materials and design, ideal for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. The Gibson Axe is made from robust 1095 carbon steel, known for its hardness and ability to hold a sharp edge for a long time. With a length of 11.5 cm and a height of 7.3 cm, the axe head provides a solid base for precise work. The 6.7 cm cutting edge features a special "beard" that allows the handle to be gripped high for more control, perfect for finer cuts and detail work when bushcrafting or chopping firewood. A powerful statement of the Gibson Axe is the handle made of Micarta, a high-strength composite material made of fibers and synthetic resin. This handle is extremely hard-wearing, but also exceptionally grippy. James Gibson gives all of his handles a distinctive, random pattern that not only looks good, but also optimizes grip, whether dry or wet.
For added protection and manageability, the ESEE Gibson Axe comes with a sturdy leather sheath. This not only ensures that the sharp edge is safely stowed away, but also that the axe is easily accessible when needed.
It is important to note that the Gibson Axe is not suitable for throwing.
Designed and manufactured in the United States, the ESEE Gibson Axe embodies the commitment to quality and performance expected of an outdoor adventure tool. With an overall length of 26 cm and a weight of 590 g, it is the perfect addition to any backpack or camping kit. Whether you're an experienced bushcrafter or just enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, the excellent ESEE Knives Gibson Axe provides you with the tool you need to get the job done efficiently and tackle adventures safely. Invest in quality and experience the power of the Gibson Axe on your next outdoor endeavor.

In 1997, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin set out to combat the over-hyped and heavily exploited survival scene by opening their own survival school, which would again offer hands-on, self-tested survival training. Working with the Peruvian Air Force's "Escuela De Supervivencia En La Selva" (School of Survival in the Jungle), they quickly rose to the top of the most popular survival schools. However, they soon realised that most of the tools advertised as survival knives were hardly up to the standards of professionals. As a result, some time later they started to develop and produce knives according to their own ideas. That was the beginning of ESEE KNIVES. The practical companions quickly became known throughout the outdoor scene and inspire survival professionals all over the world.
