The smart ESEE Knives Model 4 Serrated is one of the most popular models from ESEE - and rightly so. With its well thought-out design, the perfect balance between size and manageability and its impressive cutting performance, it is ideal for tough outdoor use as well as for everyday use.
The 11.4 cm long drop-point blade made from tried-and-tested 1095 carbon steel impresses with its partial serrated edge, which not only makes smooth cuts child's play, but also allows tough materials such as rope, straps or packaging to be cut through effortlessly. The robust desert tan coating protects the blade from corrosion and gives it a tactical look. With an overall length of 22.9 cm, the Model 4 is the ideal size - large enough for demanding tasks, but compact enough for convenient transportation.
The ergonomic Micarta handle provides an excellent grip, even in wet or dirty hands. This durable material is known for its longevity and offers optimum grip for precise and powerful cuts. The balanced weight distribution makes working with the Model 4 particularly comfortable - whether for bushcraft, hiking, camping or everyday urban life.
Thanks to the high-quality plastic sheath supplied, the knife can be safely stowed away and conveniently attached to your belt or equipment. Like all ESEE knives, the Model 4 is manufactured in the USA and impresses with its uncompromising quality. If you are looking for a reliable, versatile and robust knife that cuts an excellent figure both in everyday life and outdoors, the ESEE Model 4 Serrated is the right choice!

In 1997, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin set out to combat the over-hyped and heavily exploited survival scene by opening their own survival school, which would again offer hands-on, self-tested survival training. Working with the Peruvian Air Force's "Escuela De Supervivencia En La Selva" (School of Survival in the Jungle), they quickly rose to the top of the most popular survival schools. However, they soon realised that most of the tools advertised as survival knives were hardly up to the standards of professionals. As a result, some time later they started to develop and produce knives according to their own ideas. That was the beginning of ESEE KNIVES. The practical companions quickly became known throughout the outdoor scene and inspire survival professionals all over the world.
