Dobermann IV S600

The Extrema Ratio Dobermann IV S600 is the latest evolution of the classic Extrema Ratio K1 Dobermann, which was first launched in 1997. Over the years, the Dobermann model has continuously evolved its aesthetics and design to meet changing tastes and trends, while retaining its basic design line.

The solid fixed is characterised by its high flexibility of use and structural strength, making it a versatile tool for a variety of uses. It is ideal for hunting, survival training, camping and military applications. The blade has a drop-point tip and a recurved blade profile in the centre section. With a blade length of 18.5 cm and a blade thickness of 6.3 mm, it offers a robust and precise edge. The flat grind is higher than comparable knives, which enables precise and clean cuts in materials such as rope, wood and foliage. The geometry is also suitable for typical bushcraft and survival techniques such as chopping and baton use, and the robust survival knife is made from Böhler S600 steel, which is known for its outstanding hardness, wear resistance and toughness. The steel contains high levels of molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium, which further improves the mechanical properties. The blade is hardened and cryogenically treated, which ensures an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC and a long-lasting sharpness. The Teflon-based EXP DARK surface protects the steel from oxidation, as Böhler S600 contains 4.5% chromium and is therefore oxidisable.

The green forprene handle of the Italian field knife is robust and ergonomically designed. The handle has a protruding pommel that serves as a glass breaker and is equipped with a lanyard hole. With an overall length of 31.6 cm and a weight of 377.5 g, the knife sits comfortably in the hand and is also light enough for a wide range of uses. The knife comes with a green Cordura thigh sheath, which has a M.O.L.L.E. fastening system and can be adjusted for both left and right-handed users.
