A GP Micarta Gentleman Pocket Knife from Fällkniven is always something special. Nordic classic yet modern, it combines two worlds. The two-handed knife has a 7.8 cm droppoint blade made of the new laminated CoS cobalt steel with a Rockwell hardness of 60 HRC, which provides excellent sharpness. The blade is easy to open with the long thumb groove and is perfectly locked in place by the well-built liner lock. The Micarta handle scales have the three-crown emblem and fit perfectly with the overall look of this Gen Knife from the North. A catch cord or chain can be attached to the small stainless steel bail at the end of the handle. The Fällkniven Gentleman Pocket Knife is one of a series of exceptional knives that have their own striking design language. Chic, classic, yet modern.
Laminated CoS steel
Fällkniven uses a laminated steel because this type of steel is at least 20% stronger than a solid stainless steel. The core of the blade is made of high-alloy cobalt special steel, and the outer layers are made of 420J2 steel (420J2 - CoS - 420J2). The steel has a Rockwell hardness of 60 HRC.

Fällkniven - the legendary knives of a family business from Sweden.
Since its founding in 1984 and the first knife series in 1987, the family-owned company Fällkniven has been developing knives made of high-quality materials and of legendary quality. The knife manufacturer has its roots deep in the Norrbotten region of Sweden. Fällkniven stands for pocket knives and outdoor knives that inspire every knife enthusiast and delight people who want to own a durable, strong and sharp knife. Through the elaborate processing of laminated steels such as VG-10 with 420J2 steel, CoS cobalt steel as well as powder steels 3G, SGPS (Super Gold Powder Steel) and damascus steel Cowry X, the blades always achieve long-lasting edge retention. Fällkniven has made a name for itself in the world of knives and has been a guarantor of consistent quality since day one. In order to maintain this high level, the knives are subjected to a quality test at the Technical University of Lulea. The knives are manufactured exclusively in Seki-City, Japan, the sheaths are made in Europe. It is only understandable that Fällkniven is now one of the suppliers of His Majesty the King of Sweden.
