Originally developed in 1975 in collaboration with Tor Indergaard, this compact knife with its short blade set new standards in the Scandinavian outdoor world. Instead of long, bulky blades, the Fjording offered a handy, versatile solution - perfect for precise carving and woodworking. This design paved the way for the equally iconic Nying model, which is still one of Helle's classics today.
To mark its 50th anniversary, the Fjording is returning in a lavishly redesigned limited edition. The characteristic short, robust blade has been modernized and is now made of durable laminated H3LC steel, which guarantees improved cutting performance and durability. With a length of 6.9 cm, it is compact enough for fine work and yet strong enough for versatile outdoor use.
The handle has also been reinterpreted, but remains true to the spirit of the original.
