The 53001 Damascus pocket knife is an eye-catcher and really something special from the Herbertz range. As an alliance of different styles, the chic folding knife almost looks like a mosaic of steel and wood. Fluting and circular patterns adorn the Damascus blade, which consists of a total of 71 layers. A core layer of 440A stainless steel is sheathed on each side by 35 layers of 2Cr13 steel. The pointed blade is about 7.3 cm long and can be lifted out of the handle via the thumb pin. The handle is a mesh of stainless steel bolsters and the finest burl wood. The pocket knife is secured by a liner lock inside the hilt. Instead of a pocket clip, this knife comes with an alternative carry option, a small leather catch strap.
