The Laguiole en Aubrac Green Poplar 12 cm knife immediately catches the eye because of its handle scales made of green, permanently coloured poplar burl. The beautifully grained poplar wood not only offers a special aesthetic experience, but also long-lasting quality. The back spring is decorated by hand with a traditional fine file, making the knife a special piece of jewellery. The blade is made of high-quality, stainless 12C27MOD Sandvik steel, which has excellent cutting properties and is easy to sharpen. The matt finish rounds off the appearance and makes this knife a two-handed and freely wieldable everyday companion that convinces in every respect.

Laguiole en Aubrac ist bekannt durch seine hervorragenden, handgefertigten Laguiole Taschenmesser und Tafelbestecke, die nur in Frankreich in Espalion gefertigt werden. Jedes Messer wird in bis zu 216 Arbeitsschritten ganz traditionell von einem Messerschmied gefertigt, der sein ganzes Wissen, Geschick und Herz bis zur Fertigstellung des Laguiole-Messers gibt. In der Manufaktur Laguiole en Aubrac verziert ein Messerschmied per Hand den Rücken des Messers mit seiner eigenen Gravur, der sogenannten Guilloche, und gibt dem Messer damit ein unverkennbares Merkmal. Als Grifmaterialien werden wunderschöne Hölzer aus der Provinz, europäische und exotische Hölzer verwendet und passgenau bearbeitet. Die geschmiedeten Klingen werden aus unterschiedlichsten Damaststählen und rostfreiem Stahl hergestellt. So entstehen bei Laguiole en Aubrac einzigartige, exklusive Taschenmesser, die man gerne bei sich trägt und mit den Tafelbesteck den Esstisch zu einem wunderschönen Erlebnis verzaubern kann.
