Woodboy Kataba

The Silky Woodboy Kataba 240-26 is a modern form of the traditional Japanese wood saws, which have long been renowned in Europe for their impressive precision. It is impossible to imagine joiner's workshops without this form of pull saw and, as is typical for a Kataba, the folding Woodboy is also extremely easy to cut and leaves a very clean saw pattern. The toothing of the 24 cm long saw blade has 26 teeth per 30 mm, which makes the saw flanks almost silky and, with careful work, makes resharpening almost unnecessary. The folding saw is particularly suitable for cuts across the grain and for fermentation cuts, and not only enhances the home workshop drawer. Its optimised pack size is also convincing for professional use. The aluminium handle is equipped with a non-slip rubber coating so that the saw always lies well and securely in the hand and any vibrations that occur are well absorbed.
