The Spartan Blades George V-14 Dagger is the result of an award-winning collaboration between Spartan Blades and renowned knifemaker Les George. With a total length of 29.2 cm and a blade length of 17.1 cm, this dagger combines traditional martial arts with modern engineering. The blade, made from CPM MagnaCut steel with a hardness of 61-63 HRC, offers exceptional edge retention and toughness. The precise hollow groove with four symmetrical bevels and a full-length construction made from 6.35 mm thick steel makes this dagger both durable and optimally balanced.
The ergonomically designed handle made of 3D-contoured G10 lies securely in the hand and, thanks to its textured surface, ensures maximum grip even in demanding situations. The flattened sides of the handle enable quick and safe handling, especially in low-light conditions. The design was specifically geared towards the needs of professional users and combines functionality with a clear, modern aesthetic.
The blade is coated with SpartaCoat PVD / tungsten DLC in black. These high-quality coatings provide additional protection against abrasion and improve the blade's cutting performance. The company was founded by retired US Army Special Forces Mark Carey and Curtis Iovito. With an unrivaled expertise that comes from 40+ years of professional experience, the two designed and manufactured their first custom knives while still in the military. In 2008, they recognized their potential and decided to produce tactical and outdoor knives on a larger scale. Spartan Blades was born.
The beginnings were spent making knives in an old pre-war barn, and the customer base consisted of friends, acquaintances, old colleagues and absolute knife fans. Today, the still young company can look back on a number of successes and awards won by Spartan Blades with its unusual ideas and excellent designs. The company now delivers worldwide and produces at several locations.

The Elite Grade with the golden logo only features knives that are actually still made in Southern Pines, North Carolina. They are equipped with the most exclusive materials and will knock the socks off any knife connoisseur.
The Pro Grade with the silver logo are produced in collaboration with Ka-Bar under Pineland Cutlery. Also “Proudly Made in USA” and also high quality, sturdy knives that are not afraid of any outdoor work.
The field grade, underlined by the bronze logo, is suitable for all knife fans who do not have such an open budget. Production takes place abroad. This means that the knives can be offered at a lower price. Despite the good prices, cheap material has not been used here: AUS 8 and CTS-XHP steel are used as well as G10 or carbon fiber.
