The Zero Tolerance 0640BLK is a Factory Special Edition of the popular 0640 model, which was designed by the world-famous knife designer Ernest Emerson and is produced in a very limited number. The black-coated blade is made of CPM-20CV high-performance steel, which impresses with its outstanding properties in terms of edge retention and durability. Matching the black blade of the modern folding knife, black carbon scales have been placed at the titanium handle scales. The contoured handle scales fit very well in the hand without annoying pressure or causing of hotspots. The shape of the handle was intentionally kept as simple as possible to allow the greatest possible variety of grip positions. There is an opening aid on the back of the blade that allows the knife to be opened easily and quickly with the thumb. The blade is mounted on phosphor bronze washers, which results in enormous robustness and is easy to maintain. The blade is held by a liner lock, which is extremely robust and has a steel inlay.
