The M500 Anthropoid DLC by Acta non Verba is a modern interpretation of the legendary Fairbain-Sykes dagger. With high-tempered Elmax as blade steel with black DLC coating and textured G10 handle with tapered striking pommel.
The design of the ANV M500 Anthropoid is inspired by the legendary Fairbain-Sykes dagger that was used by the Allies in the Second World War and has been manufactured and sold ever since.
The pointy blade has a fuller that fits perfectly into the design of the knife, and the prominent hand guard ensures that the hand will not slip unintentionally onto the sharp blade. The end of the handle is equipped with a striking pommel, which is tapered and can therefore develop enormous energy. The blade steel used is Elmax, which is perfectly suited for the knife due to its outstanding properties in terms of cutting performance, robustness and corrosion resistance and will not let its user down. To avoid possible reflections in use, the blade has been completely coated with a matt black DLC coating that blends harmoniously with the black G10 of the handle. The handle is textured to provide a good grip at all times and to ensure that it sits securely in the user's hand even when wet.
The Kydex included is very well made and provides a secure grip for the knife. It is equipped with two MOLLE clips so that the knife can be positively attached to MOLLE or PALS webbing, for example. Of course also on the belt!

Actions determine our world and only actions remain real, according to the view of the Czech knifemakers based in the capital city of Prague. The company is still very young and was founded in 2018, but this does not reflect on the quality of the knives. Because they have an incredibly high quality of workmanship and impress knife fans all over the world with their futuristic and smart design. The knives are manufactured in the Czech Republic in a modern way with a focus on functionality. What is unusual, however, is the price level of these stylish knives: although they do not have to hide from the big companies in the industry in terms of workmanship standards, they are much less expensive.
The Acta Non Verba range includes bushcraft knives, survival knives, fine slipjoint folders and modern EDC knives in the form of one-handed and two-handed knives. Mostly N690 or Sleipner steel is used for the blades, while Micarta, G10 and even titanium can be found for the handles.
