At its heart is the 7.9 cm long Wharncliffe blade made of AR-RPM9, a powder metallurgical steel developed especially for Artisan Cutlery. With excellent corrosion resistance, a fine grain structure, and good resharpenability, it makes classic D2 steel look old. A fine stonewashed finish gives the blade the appropriate understated look.
