With a little provocation comes the Spanish newcomer Bastards Knives on the market, but not in a bad sense. They want their brand to reflect the gentleman with a little prankster on his neck and have brought together various designers from Europe to create this brand and launch the project. The young designers Adrian and Fernando from Wayward Cutlery were responsible for the first folder of the company. Born in 1999, the designers put all their passion into the extraordinary Utopia and it definitely shows. The popular M390 steel was used for the 8.9 cm long Mirror stonewashed blade and carbon and titanium were used for the handles. The carbon handle scales are removable. The convertible titanium clip can be easily removed and reattached on the other side, so it can be used by both left and right-handers. To keep the side without the clip from looking too boring, a cover with the logo representing a middle finger was added. The button lock does not work as usually known, it is more like a liner lock in the form of a button.
The name Utopia came from the statements of many who thought the idea was utopian and unrealizable, so it was just the right name for this pocket knife.
