The Kihon is a perfect and affordable automatic knife for everyday use. The AUS-8 steel blade is opened by a push button and the design is based on the Japanese blade style. The lightweight aluminum handle scales give a good grip with their textured surfaces and the flat design ensures that the EDC can be conveniently stowed in the pocket. To attach it to clothing, a tip-up clip is attached to the knife, and it also has a lanyard loop.
