Kalashnikov Bajonett Damast

The high quality Kalashnikov Bayonet Damascus is a one-handed knife with history. Mikhail Kalashnikov designed in 1947 the famous AK-47 which later became the most built rifle in the world. In commemoration of this engineering achievement, Böker developed a special model in its knife line. The unique, stainless Damascus blade was forged from the same steel as the first two bayonet types used by the former Soviet Army and features the signature of Mikhail Kalashnikov. The Damascus is 80 layers and is hand forged by Chad Nichols in the "Virus" pattern. The Pandurs point blade shape was also adopted from the earlier bayonets. The 9.6 cm long blade is opened by a thumb pin and then locked by a sturdy linerlock. The handle is made of black hardcoat anodized aluminum, milled from a block by CNC technology. Hornbeam wood inlays replicate the characteristic vents on the rifle's forend. Thanks to the pocket clip (tip up/r), the knife is easy to carry in everyday life.
