Sherman EDC

Böker had great success with the Böker M4 Sherman Damascus. Now they decided to design an EDC knife with the M4 Sherman as a basic. The steel used for this is the Magnacut steel, which is not called "miracle steel" for nothing. Developed specifically for knife making, the steel offers good edge retention, toughness and rust resistance. Nitrogen plays an important role in the production of the steel. Normally, nitrogen damages steel, however, in Magnacut, the nitrogen has been subjected to sophisticated heat treatment, which has incorporated it into the crystalline lattice structure. The difference between the Sherman EDC and the M4 Sherman Damascus is the elegant flipper. With it, the blade can be opened with ease. Alternatively, it can also be opened with the thumb pin. The blade is locked with a solid titanium framelock in a stonewash finish. The lightweight carbon fiber handle completes the overall look of the folder. An eye-catcher is the protruding backspacer made of damascus, which is equipped with a lanyard hole. Thus, the Sherman EDC also has its piece of the M4 Damascus model.
