Das Luzon ist inspiriert von den Balisongs. Die Klinge zeichnet sich durch eine scharfe und starke Spitze aus und hat gerade so viel Bauch, dass sie sowohl zum Schneiden als auch zum Schlitzen geeignet ist. Geöffnet wird sie einhändg mit dem Flipper und arretiert durch eine doppelt verriegelte Seitenfeder, die enorm stoß- und schlagfest ist. Als Klingenstahl kommt der rostfreie 8Cr13MoV Stahl zum Einsatz, der sich für Arbeitsmesser bestens bewährt hat. Der Griff aus witterungsbeständigem glasfaserverstärktem Nylon hat eine bambusartige Form und bietet durch die konkaven Segmente unterschiedliche Griffmöglichkeiten. Auch ein Taschenclip, der umgesetzt werden kann, gehört zur Ausstattung, so dass das Luzon für Recht- und Linkshänder geeignet ist.
Cold Steel was founded in 1980 by Lynn C. Thompson and is based in California.
