The OSS hunting knife from Cold Steel is a double-edged knife that is not only perfect for hunting. While this fixed blade knife was designed for thrusting, it can cut or carve in almost any direction thanks to its outstanding razor-sharp edge. Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel was used for the blade. This steel has been in Cold Steel's lineup for three decades and has proven itself in work knives by being very tough corrosion resistant and having good edge retention, but also easy to resharpen. The blade is double hardened with modern technology to ensure strength and durability.

The handle, consisting of the grip section, guard and finger spine is injection molded from a single piece of Kray-Ex. It lies firmly and securely in the hand whether in wet conditions or with gloves it will not let you down with the OSS hunting knife.
