Schlank, leicht, funktionell... das beschreibt das erstklassige Neck-Knife von Cold Steel wohl am besten. Man kann das Bowie Spike den ganzen Tag wegen seines leichten Gewichtes von nur 85 g (Messer + Scheide) mit sich tragen. Bestehend aus rostfreiem, rasiermesserscharfem, cryo-behandeltem Edelstahl 4116 mit Zero-Ground Schliff, ist das Messer äußerst präzise bei feinen Aufgaben und kann dennoch auch etwas härter angepackt werden. Der Griff besitzt stark ausgekehlte Griffschalen für einen bequemen und festen Griff. Das angedeutete Parierelement schützt vor dem Ausrutschen der Hand auf die Klinge. Das Griv-Ex Material hält das Messer trotz Kälte und Nässe sicher in der Hand. Das Spike Bowie wird mit einer Secure-Ex Scheide geliefert, welche dank des Tek-Lok-Tragesystems auch an Gürtel oder Hosenbund getragen werden kann.
