Perfekt für die rauen Umstände der erbarmungslosen Natur entwickelt, besteht die 27,3 cm lange Klinge aus dem unverwüstlichen 1090 Kohlenstoffstahl, der mit einer unglaublichen Bruchsicherheit und guten Schärfe jede noch so schwere Aufgabe mühelos erledigt. Die kopflastige Bauart erleichtert jegliche Form von Haubewegungen, damit auch das Zerkleinern von Feuerholz zu einem Kinderspiel wird. Das Parierelement ist, wie auch die Schrauben am Griff, aus edlem Messing gefertigt, die einen eleganten Akzent zu dem sonst rötlichen Griff aus Palisanderholz bilden. Im Lieferumfang ist eine schlichte Lederscheide aus hochwertigem, schwarzem Leder enthalten. Diese lässt sich über die Gürtelschlaufe sowie einen zusätzlichen Beinriemen befestigen, damit das Wild West Bowie immer sicher an deiner Seite auf seinen Einsatz wartet.
Cold Steel was founded in 1980 by Lynn C. Thompson and is based in California. Lynn is a true martial arts expert who has been dedicated to the study of many martial arts since his early youth, including Ruy Karate, Thai Boxing, Wado, Jeet Kune Do, Kali and Jiu Jitsu. He is also an extremely good shooter and skilled hunter as well as an excellent fighter in stick fighting, sword fighting, sabre fencing and a master in all types of knife fighting. He practices his martial arts as a full-contact variant, with only a minimum of protective equipment. In addition, he has held countless seminars in knife fighting all over the world over the years, as well as producing training and instructional videos. Lynn develops most of the products himself or in cooperation with his team, which also has martial arts background. All knives are worked out down to the last detail and subjected to countless tests.
