Diese Axt ist ein echter Brecher! Komplett in Schwarz und in einem stilsicheren Design erfreut dieses Prachtstück von Condor mit Sicherheit jeden Freund der Outdoor- & Bushcraftszene. Der massive Axtkopf der Blackout Hawk Axe überzeugt mit einer Länge von 18,4 cm und einer enormen Klingenstärke von 6 mm. Auf der Rückseite des Axtkopfes befindet sich eine Art Hammerfläche, die genutzt werden kann, um sein Lager aufzubauen oder Nägel in Holz zu schlagen. Der lange und ergonomisch geformte Griff der insgesamt 1,140 kg schweren Axt besteht aus Papier-Micarta und liegt perfekt in der Hand. Das Griffende kann als Kuhfuß benutzt werden und dient somit als praktisches Hebelwerkzeug. Mitgeliefert wird eine Kydexscheide, die den Axtkopf zuverlässig verstaut.
The history of Condor Tool & Knife goes back to 1787, when the Weyersberg brothers founded a company in Solingen to manufacture swords, military knives, cutlery and agricultural tools. Then, in 1964, the company IMACASA was founded in Santa Ana in El Salvador and the factory was well equipped with the most modern German tools and the employees were sent to Solingen for intensive training. Today, this factory produces machetes, axes, shovels and other hand tools of the highest quality. IMACASA was sold to local investors in 1980 and is now one of the largest machete and shovel manufacturers in the world. Then, in 2004, when additional knives and tools were developed for the North American and European markets, Condor Tool & Knife was born.
