The Condor Crotalus is a truly massive knife. With its total weight of 440 g and the blade made of high-quality 1075carbon steel, it impresses with its strength and robustness. The 14 cm long, black blade has an impressive back thickness of 5 mm and is therefore particularly resilient. No outdoor task will push the sturdy outdoor knife to its limits. The handle is made of neatly finished Micarta and offers a pleasant feel, even in wet and adverse conditions. With an overall length of 24 cm and a handle length of 10 cm, the knife fits snugly and well in the hand. The Crotalus is supplied in a high-quality black Kydex sheath with belt loop so that it is always ready to hand. A true highlight for all knife lovers and those who want to become one.
The history of Condor Tool & Knife goes back to 1787, when the Weyersberg brothers founded a company in Solingen to manufacture swords, military knives, cutlery and agricultural tools. Then, in 1964, the company IMACASA was founded in Santa Ana in El Salvador and the factory was well equipped with the most modern German tools and the employees were sent to Solingen for intensive training. Today, this factory produces machetes, axes, shovels and other hand tools of the highest quality. IMACASA was sold to local investors in 1980 and is now one of the largest machete and shovel manufacturers in the world. Then, in 2004, when additional knives and tools were developed for the North American and European markets, Condor Tool & Knife was born.
