The Condor El Salvador Machete Walnut is a real workhorse with soul – developed and manufactured in El Salvador, where knife making is still a true craft. This machete was created to effortlessly master demanding outdoor tasks such as chopping, cutting, or clearing. It combines functionality with a timeless, rustic design.
At its heart is the 46-centimeter-long blade made of durable 1075 carbon steel. The drop-point blade type with a smooth cutting edge has been precision flat-ground – ideal for effective cuts with controlled sharpness. With its robust blade thickness of 3 millimeters, the machete is equipped for tough use. A black powder coating provides additional protection against corrosion and gives the blade a distinctive, matte finish.
The handle is 13 centimeters long and made of high-quality, ergonomically shaped walnut wood. This elegant natural material fits comfortably in the hand and ensures a secure grip even during prolonged use. The combination of wood and black gives the tool a classic, almost archaic look with a stylish contrast. With a total length of 59 centimeters, the machete offers excellent reach without compromising control. Its weight of 1000 grams provides the necessary punch without making it difficult to handle – a balanced ratio that enables precise and powerful movements in equal measure.
For safe transport and storage, the machete comes with a custom-fit leather sheath. This not only protects the blade, but also emphasizes the traditional style of this tool. Whether for camping, hiking, on your own property, or as part of a collection, the Condor El Salvador Walnut Machete stands for authentic outdoor performance and long-lasting quality that you can see and feel.

The history of Condor Tool & Knife goes back to 1787, when the Weyersberg brothers founded a company in Solingen to manufacture swords, military knives, cutlery and agricultural tools. Then, in 1964, the company IMACASA was founded in Santa Ana in El Salvador and the factory was well equipped with the most modern German tools and the employees were sent to Solingen for intensive training. Today, this factory produces machetes, axes, shovels and other hand tools of the highest quality. IMACASA was sold to local investors in 1980 and is now one of the largest machete and shovel manufacturers in the world. Then, in 2004, when additional knives and tools were developed for the North American and European markets, Condor Tool & Knife was born.
