Böser Name, böses Messer! Das Ripper Knife von Condor ist ein robustes Survivalmesser mit einer 11,6 cm langen Klinge aus schnitthaltigem 1095 High Carbon Steel. Dieser ist enorm scharf und sehr widerstandsfähig. Zum Schutz vor Korrosion ist der Klingenkorpus mit einer grauen Beschichtung versehen. Ebenfalls in Grau kommen die texturierten Griffschalen aus Micarta daher, die so ergonomisch geformt sind, dass sie perfekt in der Hand liegen. Durch den Vollerlbau hält das Ripper so einiges aus. Die Kydexscheide, die im Lieferumfang enthalten ist, sieht richtig cool aus und lässt sich über eine Gürtelschlaufe am Gürtel tragen.
The history of Condor Tool & Knife goes back to 1787, when the Weyersberg brothers founded a company in Solingen to manufacture swords, military knives, cutlery and agricultural tools. Then, in 1964, the company IMACASA was founded in Santa Ana in El Salvador and the factory was well equipped with the most modern German tools and the employees were sent to Solingen for intensive training. Today, this factory produces machetes, axes, shovels and other hand tools of the highest quality. IMACASA was sold to local investors in 1980 and is now one of the largest machete and shovel manufacturers in the world. Then, in 2004, when additional knives and tools were developed for the North American and European markets, Condor Tool & Knife was born.
