Ein Bushcraftmesser wie es im Buche steht! Das SBK Knife von Condor ist ein scharfes und stabiles Outdoormesser, das mit einer 13,4 cm langen Klinge aus kohlenstoffhaltigem 1075Carbon-Stahl aufwartet. Diese ist mit einem Scandi-Schliff versehen und kann durch die Full-Tang-Bauweise ordentlich was ab. Das verwendete Klingenmaterial ist sehr scharf und schnitthaltig und zum Schutz vor Korrosion sowie Verschmutzungen mit einer schwarzen PVD-Beschichtung überzogen. Der Name SBK steht für "Straight Back Knife", was die Klingenform des feststehenden Messers aufgreift. Aus der Kydexscheide lässt sich das Messer über den Micarta-Griff hervorragend herausziehen. Dank der ergonomischen Form des Griffes und dem Micarta-Verbundmaterial liegt das SBK Knife richtig gut in der Hand, auch bei Regen und stürmischem Wetter.
The history of Condor Tool & Knife goes back to 1787, when the Weyersberg brothers founded a company in Solingen to manufacture swords, military knives, cutlery and agricultural tools. Then, in 1964, the company IMACASA was founded in Santa Ana in El Salvador and the factory was well equipped with the most modern German tools and the employees were sent to Solingen for intensive training. Today, this factory produces machetes, axes, shovels and other hand tools of the highest quality. IMACASA was sold to local investors in 1980 and is now one of the largest machete and shovel manufacturers in the world. Then, in 2004, when additional knives and tools were developed for the North American and European markets, Condor Tool & Knife was born.
