The CRKT Du Hoc Deadbolt was designed by Austin McGlaun to honor the memory of his deceased uncle, who fought at the famous cliff during the Allied landing in Normandy and was awarded the Silver Star for his bravery. The well-designed Karambit knife has an overall length of 24.2 cm and a blade length of 9.2 cm, making it a compact yet powerful tool. Weighing 238 g, it sits comfortably in the hand while also offering a robust and stable construction.
The blade of the Du Hoc Deadbolt is made of D2 steel, a material known for its high cutting ability and durability. The coating of the blade provides additional protection against external influences and ensures a long service life. The handle of the knife is made of G10, an extremely stable and resistant material that offers a secure grip even in adverse weather conditions. The fine structure of the handle scales ensures excellent ergonomics and control, even in demanding applications.
The knife is equipped with a flipper that makes opening the blade quick and easy.
