Das M40-02 Einhandmesser von CRKT verbindet klassisches Design und moderne Innovation. Bei der erst kürzlich entwickelten Klingenverriegelung übernehmen massive Stahlbolzen die sichere Arretierung der Klinge. Der Druckknopf, der in der dekorativen Achsschraube sitzt, dient zur Entriegelung der Klinge. Die 7 cm lange Tantoklinge kann dann einhändig über den Flipper oder den Daumenpin geöffnet werden. Für den Griff wird leichtgewichtiges, strukturiertes FRN verwendet, die Backen bestehen aus Aluminium. Zur Ausstattung gehört auch ein umsetzbarer Clip.
