Cudeman offers a great recognition value with its elephant logo and of course with its traditional appearance. The knives are often equipped with wooden handles, but sometimes Micarta is also used, which is usually underlaid with red fibreglass discs. With the Kotuko Micarta M-119, Cudeman once again remains true to its brand. The hunting knife comes with a black/greyish Micarta handle including the aforementioned red fibreglass underlays. The blade of the knife can best be classified as a modified Bowie knife shape and is a full 13 cm long. It is made of 440 stainless steel. There is a protected finger recess at the beginning of the handle, which ensures solid safety when working. The outdoor knife is stowed in style in a smart leather sheath with belt loop.
Cudeman's journey began in 1988. As a knife manufacturer in the Spanish market, they produce cutting tools based on the traditions of knife-making from the city of Albacete. Knife making in this city can be traced back to 17th century work. Both newer techniques such as cutting with lasers, mechanical CNC milling and galvanised engraving, as well as the old traditional ways of working, come together at Cudeman.
