Laguiole en Aubrac pocket knives are made exclusively in France. In the traditional way, Laguiole knives are made by a blacksmith to perfection. A handmade true to the specifications of 1829, a Laguiole knife will always remain unique because it is not made by computerized CNC mills, but by hand, like this one with select Aubrac birch handle scales. The handle scales are beautifully drawn with a natural pattern. Each handle scales very differently, and you can feel the machined wood in your hand. Fine matte stainless steel bolsters match just right. The cross has been designed with micro pins. Two-handed open, the 11 cm blade is held by the forged spring, which has been beautifully hand decorated. Laguiole en Aubrac ist bekannt durch seine hervorragenden, handgefertigten Laguiole Taschenmesser und Tafelbestecke, die nur in Frankreich in Espalion gefertigt werden. Jedes Messer wird in bis zu 216 Arbeitsschritten ganz traditionell von einem Messerschmied gefertigt, der sein ganzes Wissen, Geschick und Herz bis zur Fertigstellung des Laguiole-Messers gibt. In der Manufaktur Laguiole en Aubrac verziert ein Messerschmied per Hand den Rücken des Messers mit seiner eigenen Gravur, der sogenannten Guilloche, und gibt dem Messer damit ein unverkennbares Merkmal. Als Grifmaterialien werden wunderschöne Hölzer aus der Provinz, europäische und exotische Hölzer verwendet und passgenau bearbeitet. Die geschmiedeten Klingen werden aus unterschiedlichsten Damaststählen und rostfreiem Stahl hergestellt. So entstehen bei Laguiole en Aubrac einzigartige, exklusive Taschenmesser, die man gerne bei sich trägt und mit den Tafelbesteck den Esstisch zu einem wunderschönen Erlebnis verzaubern kann.
