The sophisticated Dönges Professional Tactical is a highly specialised pocket knife designed specifically for use by patrol officers and law enforcement agencies. With an average blade length of 11.8 cm and robust handle scales made of heat-resistant G10 with non-slip Dönges honeycomb structure, this knife is ideal for use with gloves, including heavy heat protection gloves. All knives in the Professional series from Dönges are equipped with a 4-way reversible wire clip that allows for flexible carrying. The blades are made of edge-holding D2 steel and are equipped with a ball-bearing axle that ensures smooth opening and closing. In addition, the knives have serrations at the base of the blade for cutting fibrous material, a retractable belt cutter and a glass breaker for emergency situations.

The Dönges Professional Tactical is characterised by its steep tanto point with a one-sided chisel grind. This design was specially developed to meet the requirements of patrol officers who regularly have to remove stickers from licence plates. The elimination of the baton with a special scraper at the end of the handle has closed a functional gap that the Dönges Professional Tactical now successfully fills. The blade can be opened either by finger flipper or thumb pin, which makes handling quick and easy. With an overall length of 27 cm and a weight of 263 g, the Dönges Professional Tactical offers an optimum balance between manoeuvrability and performance. The linerlock lock ensures that the blade is securely locked in place during use.
