The well-known ESEE Knives Izula II Desert is a compact and versatile survival knife designed by Randall's Adventure & Training. With its rugged design and outstanding features, it is perfect for outdoor and everyday use. The drop point blade of the Izula II is made of high-quality 1095 carbon steel and measures 6.7 cm. The entire knife in its full-tang construction is coated with a sand-colored traction coating, which is abrasion-resistant and provides the Izula II with excellent protection against corrosion. The flat grind is perfectly honed and ensures excellent cutting performance. The knife has a blade thickness of 4.1 mm, which ensures robust and reliable handling.
The handle of the Izula II is 9.2 cm long and the handle scales are made of Micarta, which provides a secure and comfortable grip. Compared to the Izula I, the handle of the Izula II is 0.7 cm longer and therefore even easier to grip. With a total length of 17.1 cm and a weight of only 95 g, the knife is handy and easy to carry.
The name "Izula" was inspired by a survivor of the animal world, the tropical giant ant. The knife reflects the toughness, lightness and robustness of this ant. The reference to the dangerous sting of the "Isula" ant underlines the effectiveness and sharpness of the Izula knife. It is a true survival knife that proves its worth both in the jungle and in everyday urban life.
The ESEE Izula II can be carried legally in Germany and is therefore also suitable for EDC. The plastic sheath supplied is extremely functional and can be worn on the belt, around the neck or as a boot knife. A belt clip enables universal attachment. Optionally, a Tecklock (everyone should have one at home =)) can also be attached to the sheath.
The practical Izula II Desert is the perfect choice for adventurers, outdoor people and survival professionals alike. A reliable and compact knife for a wide range of uses, combined with high-quality materials and a well thought-out design, it is ready to reliably stand by your side in any situation.

In 1997, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin set out to combat the over-hyped and heavily exploited survival scene by opening their own survival school, which would again offer hands-on, self-tested survival training. Working with the Peruvian Air Force's "Escuela De Supervivencia En La Selva" (School of Survival in the Jungle), they quickly rose to the top of the most popular survival schools. However, they soon realised that most of the tools advertised as survival knives were hardly up to the standards of professionals. As a result, some time later they started to develop and produce knives according to their own ideas. That was the beginning of ESEE KNIVES. The practical companions quickly became known throughout the outdoor scene and inspire survival professionals all over the world.
