Droppoint blade
One of the most popular blade shapes is the so-called drop-point blade. This designation is due to the fact that the false edge curves downwards and thus the tip of the blade is placed more centrally. The back of the blade is slightly curved outwards, which makes the knife particularly easy to handle. The belly of the knife is particularly long with this blade shape, which significantly improves the cutting ability and handling. In addition, the tip is extremely robust, which significantly increases the durability of this knife. The drop-point shape is often used in the many different knives that exist, although it is always modified in small parts. The blade shape is sometimes different, but the familiar and popular basic shape remains. The blades are real all-rounders and are often found in EDCs that you can take with you and use everywhere.
