Product information "Northern Light - Njord"

The Njord outdoor knife is part of the Northern Light series from Fällkniven. It is a strong, well balanced and attractive all-round knife. Of particular note is the stainless laminated VG-10 steel from which the 15 cm long blade is made. The core of the 6 mm thick blade is made of high-alloy VG-10 steel, while the outer layers are made of 420J2 stainless steel. This construction of the blade has desirable properties such as elasticity and torque resistance. The handle is made of selected cowhide leather, fits comfortably and securely in the hand and minimizes counter forces. The guard protects the hand when working with the Njord, and the strong silver toggle closes the handle. A catch cord can also be attached. With the black leather sheath with belt loop, the knife can go on the road with you. These assets make the Njord a rugged, functional, and high-quality companion when it goes beyond the paved roads.

Fällkniven gives this knife the name Njord. He was the god of fertility in the Norse sagas and belonged to the Vanir clan. He was also the god of sailors and fishermen and the ruler of coasts and beaches.
