The Fällkniven S1X is an outdoor knife as you would want it to be. It is a precise, sharp as well as robust tool that you can rely on in any situation. The X-series outdoor knives from Fällkniven are among the sharpest stainless steel knives of their kind. They are designed for tough use and leave nothing to be desired in terms of sharpness, feel and control. The fixed S1X is designed to withstand all the stresses exerted by the human hand. The solid, 13.2 cm long blade with a blade thickness of 6 mm is a well thought-out design. It is made of laminated CoS steel with a Rockwell hardness of 60 HRC and guarantees a long cutting life. The Single Guard protects the hand when working with the knife. The handle sheathing made of Thermorun has proven itself in outdoor use. Finely structured, the knife fits securely in the hand even in wet environments. A paracord cord can be attached to the end of the handle. This knife is perfected by the Zytel belt sheath, which is included. It has not only a transport lock, but also many attachment points to transport the knife safely on the equipment.

Laminated CoS Steel

Fällkniven uses a laminated steel because such a steel is at least 20% stronger than a solid stainless steel. The core of the blade is made of high-alloy cobalt special steel, and the outer layers are made of 420J2 steel (420J2 - CoS - 420J2). The steel has a Rockwell hardness of 60 HRC.

Carrying system

Fällkniven relies on its own development for its carrying systems for knives, because the design of the sheath determines the access to the knife. The reinforced sheath is made of the indestructible Zytel and can be securely attached to the equipment with the elongated cutouts. Carrying comfort is also provided by the belt loop made of nylon. The transport lock on the sheath fixes the knife and keeps it in place when you are on the road.
