PHOBOS Black

Once again, Hydra Knives and Hydra Design have teamed up to bring something really cool to the market, because not only is this a unique combination due to their naming, but both companies are also characterized by high quality standards and outstanding designs. In this collaboration, the tactical PHOBOS Black was brought to life. A slim and strong knife that lives up to its name with its expressive Spearpoint blade in the survival and mission area.

The knife is named after the son of the god of war Ares (Mars); Phobos was the divinization of fear. Together with his brother Deimos (literally: fear), he participates in his father's battles and uses his own power to spread terror.

The PHOBOS is a full tang knife made with the Swedish Sleipner steel. This steel is characterized by its high robustness and wear resistance, making it perfect for this tactical knife. The 13 cm long blade was provided with a powder coating to minimize reflections in use.

Like most tactical knives designed by Alessandra de Santis (aka Hydra Design), the PHOBOS features a guard with two triangular holes that, together with the hole at the end of the handle, refer to the three-headed Hydra of their logo.

The ergonomic handle is made of three-dimensional milled G10 shells that give the knife a firm grip and allow working even with wet hands or gloves. The PHOBOS comes with a Kydex sheath that combines a belt loop adapter and a soft rubber loop to attach it both horizontally and vertically.
